Someone dumped a bunch of military H1s on my local CL. I know the DeMuro has you wanting. Fairly cheap.

Hm. $11,000 for something that may or may not run, that doesn’t come with a title, and also has no doors. Sign me up.

That’s a good question, for which I don’t have an answer. It’s probably fine considering the location, outside of Maricopa County.

If it helps they can throw a Jeep badge on it, should add 10k to the value regardless of condition.

Pretty sure that’s how they were designed originally

Yeah, I get the feeling that putting this on the road would depend on where you are and if you know anyone at the office. For example, you can register nearly anything in Alabama. There’s a “street legal” 917 in Europe that is on the road with Alabama plates. If you can’t find the title for a few old MGs rusting on a property in Florida with no owner, you’re fucked and will never get it registered.

A friend of a friend just bought an HMMVV and it’s pretty much the coolest thing ever. I don’t know if/how he’s registering it (Michigan), but by God I hope he can/does.

When I last looked 6 Or so months ago FL and GA were registering them with a paperwork exercise and VA would not unless you brought them to civilian Hummer standards for the year (lights, no biggie...airbags once they were issued, hahaha good luck.)

Indiana, we’ll let damn near anything on the road.

I would like to have one, but not for those prices. It’d have to be fuck-it money.
